Jonathan M. Shelley
Partner, Chief Operations Officer
Jonathan is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of 3 Capital Partners. Jonathan is responsible for executing the firm’s business strategy as well as legal and operational matters.
Prior to joining 3 Capital Partners, Jonathan was a lawyer at global law firms Allen & Overy and O’Melveny & Myers and worked in Hong Kong, Shanghai and London. During his time at Allen & Overy and O’Melveny & Myers, Jonathan specialized in private fund formation (representing both fund managers on their fundraising activities and institutional investors on their private fund investments) and private equity secondary transactions where he advised on secondary acquisitions, disposals and GP-led solutions.
Originally from Hong Kong, Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Law from the University of Edinburgh and an LLB from The College of Law in London.
